The Most Important Question You’ll Ever Answer

Life throws countless questions our way. What job should I pursue? Where should I live? Who should I marry? Most questions shape a moment, a season, or a chapter. But there is one question that shapes eternity: How will I respond to God?

This final part of our Four Points series brings us to the question mark. The first symbols reminded us that God created us and loves us, that we all turn away from Him, and that Jesus came to bring us back through His death and resurrection. Today we look at what comes next. God has acted. Now we respond.

Jesus Isn’t One Option Among Many

Jesus didn’t come to offer another spiritual pathway. He came to do what we couldn’t. He lived the perfect life we cannot live and took the penalty of sin that we couldn’t carry. As 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV) says, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

This means the cross isn’t a symbol of vague inspiration. It’s the turning point of history. Jesus died and rose again so we could be restored to God. That’s why He could say with full honesty and authority, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NIV)

The Gift Is Offered. Will We Open It?

God doesn’t force Himself on anyone. He created us for relationship, not control. Love always requires choice. Romans puts it simply and beautifully: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 NIV)

A gift must be received. You cannot earn it. You cannot work for it. You open it with empty hands and trust.

Jesus holds out forgiveness, new life, and a restored relationship with God. He invites us into a life filled with purpose, hope, and a future that stretches far beyond the grave. The question is whether we accept that invitation.

A Simple Way to Begin

If someone wants to begin following Jesus, the heart posture is simple: honesty, repentance, and trust. The prayer in the video isn’t magic words; it’s a way of saying “yes” to God’s offer of grace. It is the start of a new life, not the end of a process.

If you prayed that prayer today or want to explore further, we would love to walk with you. Faith grows best in community, with people who encourage, challenge, and help you follow Jesus day by day.

Final Encouragement

God’s love is already reaching toward you. The cross shows it. The empty tomb confirms it. The question mark simply reminds us that love requires a response.

If you sense God drawing you, don’t ignore that nudge. Open the gift He has prepared for you. You were made for relationship with Him. And the life He offers is far deeper and richer than anything we build on our own.
